Kingston Eco-op
Kingston Eco-op Association was launched in April 2009 and comprises a partnership between Kingston Voluntary Action, The Fircroft Trust and Mind in Kingston.
It is a social enterprise scheme offering a range of different activities which aims to effect personal and social change by:
- Reducing isolation
- Increasing self confidence and esteem
- Developing skills for self-help, mutual support and gaining qualifications
- Educating and caring about the environment
- Creating opportunities for employment
Eco-op's activities include Recycling and Repackaging, Furniture Repair, Cycle Repair and Gardening Group.
