Kingston-i

Kingston-i is a partnership of local organisations, working together to provide good information and choice on social care issues.

The service will provide independent information and access to advice services for adults with social care needs in the borough of Kingston. The project forms part of the programme of Transforming Social Care and aims to help people to maintain or increase their independence, stay healthy and well. Initially, the service will consist of a website and a telephone line.

Kingston Voluntary Action has been a key partner in establishing Kingston-i, hosts the Project Manager and remains active on the project's Steering Group. The other organisations on the Steering Group are Age Concern Kingston, Kingston Citizen's Advice Bureau, Kingston Centre for Independent Living, and Kingston Community Care Services and Housing Services.
