A key issue for any voluntary organisation is fundraising and so we ensure that KVA
offers up-to-date practical advice and support on all aspects of fundraising, from how
to access sources of funding, to completing funding applications and developing
fundraising strategies.

 

Fundraising Advice & Information
KVA has a number of directories of grant making trusts and publications on how to fundraise available
for reference, including:

  •      Arts, Sport, Education, Environmental and Youth Funding Guide

  •      Running a Local Fundraising Campaign

We can also advise and support groups on completing funding applications.

We also have the FunderFinder fundraising database:

FunderFinder Groups in Need - Matches charitable trusts with organisations that need funding

FunderFinder People in Need - Matches trusts with individuals.

Funding Workshops
We also arrange funding workshops with key funders.  In 2003 – 2004 this included
Fast Forward Grants and the Thames Community Fund / Local Network Fund.

KVA Funding Sources
KVA provides a number of small grants for training through several of our projects,
including LiNC, Health & Social Care and Workforce Development.
