Welcome to KVA’s Website


We are the umbrella body for voluntary and community organisations in the outer London
Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Our main role is to strengthen voluntary and community activity in the Borough.

We do this by developing and supporting organisations so they can deliver better services
to the local community, particularly those that are disadvantaged.

    Seminar on Participation:  How to involve children and young people in your project

  • VOLUNTARY SECTOR FORUM - Wednesday,  14 OCTOBER 2009 - 12.00 - 3.00

           At this forum, we shall be covering:

           -    NI7 - 'Environment for a Thriving 3rd Sector'.  Kingston has chosen this as one of their

                          Local Area Agreement indicators.

           -    FUNDING

           -    DISCUSSION + DEBATE - around key issues that affect our sector and for these to

                          then go on to inform the agenda of the Voluntary Sector Board.

           This meeting offers very good opportunities for networking with fellow Voluntary Sector

           workers, volunteers and trustees, and is a great source of local information.
