Kingston Voluntary Action the umbrella body for voluntary and community organisations in the outer London Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Our main role is to strengthen voluntary and community activity in the Borough.

We do this by developing and supporting organisations so they can deliver better services to the local community, particularly those that are disadvantaged.

Funding to support apprenticeships

London has been awarded an additional £14M of training funds to support apprentices for 2010/11. To lobby for an increased amount of these funds to go to the Voluntary and Community sector, we need to show that there is the demand. Kingston Community Development Network
Open network meetings for anyone whose role or organisation is involved in community development in its broadest sense. Quarterly meetings take place at Piper Hall between 12.30 and 2pm.
