Kingston Voluntary Action receives NAVCA Quality Award at AGM
November 2009

Kingston Voluntary Action was delighted to receive the news recently that they had achieved that NAVCA Quality Award in recognition that our support makes a real difference to local voluntary and community organisations.

Presented with the Award certificate at KVA’s Annual General Meeting on 26 November, Hilary Garner, Chief Executive said, “This important award recognises the ethos of continuous improvement that is embedded in KVA.  We are pleased be one of the first Councils for Voluntary Service in London to receive this national quality standard.”

The Annual General Meeting was hosted by Paul Cox, his first AGM as Chair of KVA's Board. His remarks highlighted some of the key achievements of KVA and its projects during the past year. The meeting culminated with a presentation about one of these major successes, the Eco-Op project, which included a video of their work.
