Brokerage Consortium
Kingston Centre for Independent Living (KCIL) has created an innovative new Brokerage Support project; funded by the local authority and supported by a consortium of voluntary sector members, including KVA. In line with the Transforming Social Care and Personalisation agenda, the project will promote, develop and regulate support planning and brokerage services for Individual Budget holders in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. A Development Worker has been appointed by KCIL to gather knowledge of what could be developed with Kingston service providers as well as looking at what is happening with Support Brokerage in other places.
