London Learning Consortium This week saw the public launch of the London Learning Consortium (LLC) . A consortium of third sector organisations that specialise in delivering learning, skills and end employment programmes across London. LLC , which was formally known as the South London Learning Consortium, has grown over the last five years to build a reputation as a high quality and responsive provider of services. LLC has made also been highly successful at delivering DWPs’ Future Jobs Fund and is soon to launch its new recruitment agency. LLC’s Chief Executive Officer Stephen Jeffery said ‘ this is a fantastic day for our organisation and its members, I would like to thank our members, staff and board for helping us to move forward in this way’ At the launch Andy Wilson, Chair of LLC, said ‘This has been a rapid journey for the South London Learning Consortium from being a local organisation with local aspirations to becoming the London Learning Consortium, an organisation with proven ability that will bring real benefit to the sector across London’ Other speakers included Lola Barrett Trustee of NAVCA and CEO of Grenfell Housing and Training, Lola said “This was an exciting event and this will be helpful for the 3rd Sector as we have been able to position ourselves to better serve the community” LLC now aim to work with new partners in FE and local Government by providing a range of management services and learning and skills contract delivery across London.
