Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

It is surprising how few of us realise that this is a very important part of Health & Safety in the workplace. Whether it’s the kettle or coffee maker we use for refreshments or the essential computer screen that we gaze wistfully at all day; basically anything with a plug on it needs PAT testing and it needs doing every year.You could find that damage caused by an electrical fire is not covered by insurance if the ‘guilty’ appliance has not been PAT tested.
