Financial Regulations Trustee Boards need to know

Who Should Attend: This workshop is for trustees/management committee members mainly, but managers and other staff are welcome.

Course Overview: Financial regulations are considered a must for any charity or community organisation. This workshop will help you understand: what Financial Regulations and controls mean and why organisations need them, how to develop regulations tailored to suit your  needs and a controls checklist for your organisation.

The workshop will cover all possible areas that controls should be set around, such as:

  • Banking policies
  • Levels of delegation
  • Payroll
  • Petty Cash
  • Fixed Assets

Trainer: Mafaz Ansari is the Community Accountancy Adviser for Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow. Mafaz has been working in the voluntary sector, supporting organisations with financial management through training and advice for over 3 years. Mafaz has a degree in Accounting and Business Management and is on her way to become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.

Course Fee: £20 for Voluntary and Community Organisations. .
