Questions to ask your Treasurer

Who Should Attend:Management Committee Members/Trustees and Managers or anyone else dealing with finances in your organisation, apart from your Treasurer!   

Course Overview: As a Committee Member you are responsible for the stability and growth of your organisation. This short training session will help you demystify the financial management and make you more confident in asking your Treasurer the right kind of questions during Committee meetings.

The course will cover:

  • interpreting your organisation’s accounts;
  • understanding cash flow and management accounts;
  • understanding where the funds come from, how they are allocated and how to plan for the future

Trainer: Mafaz Ansari is the Community Accountancy Adviser for Richmond, Kingston and Hounslow. Mafaz has been working in the voluntary sector, supporting organisations with financial management through training and advice for over 3 years. Mafaz has a degree in Accounting and Business Management and is on her way to become a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.

Course Fee: £20 for Voluntary and Community Organisations. £35 for other organisations.
